Pizza Saccottini with Rizzoli Sardines

Ingredients

  • 1 package Sardines in extra virgin olive oil Bio Rizzoli
  • 1 package Pizza base
  • 70 g (about 1 slice) Brie cheese
  • 3 Walnut kernels
  • 1 Egg yolk
  • as required Sesame seeds

Process

How to make : Pizza Saccottini with Rizzoli Sardines
  • Preheat the oven to 180°C , fan mode.
  • Unroll the pizza base and let it rest at room temperature for 15 minutes.
  • Meanwhile, drain the sardines and remove the central thorn. Cut into pieces.
  • Also cut the brie cheese into small pieces and split the walnut kernels in half.
  • After the resting time for the pizza base has elapsed, cut out into five rectangles and, on each one, make cuts on the top end, a kind of fringe.
  • Arrange at the base of each rectangle (the end without the fringe) the cheese chunks, half a walnut kernel, and the shorn sardines.
  • Roll from the base to the end with the bangs, sealing the side edges tightly so the filling does not come out.
  • Lay each sachet on the baking sheet covered with parchment paper, spacing them apart.
  • Brush each sachet with egg yolk and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
  • Bake and let bake for 15-20 minutes, until golden brown.
  • Bake and serve warm.
